Stamp Out Hunger
Saturday, May 10, is the annual Letter Carriers Food Drive. Please consider leaving a nonperishable or two out by your mailbox to be collected and delivered to shelters and food banks in your area. The holiday windfall is long gone by now. It’s especially important that these community resources be well supplied heading into summer, since the school breakfast and lunch programs that many low-income families rely upon will soon be unavailable.
Please, won’t you think of the starving American children?

Just saw your pic on the RWA GH page. They don’t hate you for finaling in the GH, darling. They hate you for finaling while being drop-dead GORGEOUS.

That picture needed big wax lips to cover some more of my face. And it’s OLD. And it does look hideously out of place amongst the others. And somebody else got them not to post her picture, and I’m kicking myself for not insisting on same. I knew about the stupid awards ceremony. I didn’t think about the stupid web.

And I am in a terrible frame of mind right now, so I’m going to head to the grocery store before I say something like “no, they hate me because I finaled with CRAP and the judges who scored it must have been my BFFs because everybody else thinks it SUCKS.”
Yes, I’m familiar with this phenomenon you’re currently experiencing. It’s called “having a moment.”
