Don't be sad. I feel better than I did yesterday. I've already been in this place---acceptance that I need to let it go and move on. I think the GH final gave me a boost of confidence I didn't deserve and put me in a place of hopefulness, so getting back to this place involved a crash. (Curse you, hope!) I limped away to write another day (and another 2,000 words). No big. . As for the NB: I really think it'll be done this week. I believe they're having a 2-month turnaround on responses, so---given Mistah Hilliard's deficient assholery and unfortunate sense of humor, coupled with my inability to construct an interesting sentence (okay, it still stings a little)---you'll probably see it here sometime in July. Because that would suck. I'd have a sad myself. Dammit. Having seen a couple pages of the NB, my completely selfish recommendation is that you post it immediately. Mistah Hilliard could grope his way around me anytime. I will, of course, hurt you if you don't submit it, tho.
